Google’s Product Extensions feature rolls out in the UK

Google has launched yet another Adwords feature in the UK, allowing advertisers to add product images within PPC ads. Product Extensions, which was initially trialled in the US during November 2009, is now officially being rolled on this side of the Atlantic without any additional charges.

Network Intellect have already tested the ad extension during its initial roll-out in the States with positive results for our clients. The feature allows advertisers to select specific products within their Adwords campaigns that appear within their ads if certain keywords have been searched. The fact that no additional CPC fees are incurred suggests that all Adwords users should at least trial the feature as it certainly can make an impact.
