5 Tips For Skilled LinkedIn Marketing

LinkedIn has recently made some great improvements to their social media site. Marketers now have access to some very useful tools with which to reach their audience properly and more effectively.

However, it is important to know how to make best use of the site to build a skilled marketing campaign. With this in mind, here are a few pointers to get you started:

1. Use LinkedIn Ads To Get Followers

It is advisable to spend some money on ads to promote your organic efforts and encourage followers to your company page. Create an ad that will encourage people within your industry to follow your company on LinkedIn. Ensure you monitor your growth carefully.

2. Post Offers And Blog Articles On Your Page

It is a good idea to post blog articles and offers on your LinkedIn company pages as these are great channels for promoting your content. Try and provide your consumers with a variety of content to keep them interested.

3. Use Status Updates To Encourage Discussion

When trying to get extra content distribution, make use of the viral effect brought about through people liking and commenting. When posting content try and introduce the content with a question or comment that will encourage discussion amongst your followers.

4. Promote Your Page

Make sure you are promoting your LinkedIn company page. Promote it on your website and on social networks. Try telling your Facebook fans that they can also follow you on LinkedIn etc.

5. Answer Questions

Answer questions within the Answers section of LinkedIn. Link to relevant landing pages when they are helpful. Ensure you keep checking the questions on LinkedIn and answering when appropriate. When doing so, make sure you include a link to content on your website or blog that may be of help to the person who asked the question. This is quite an old technique but a useful one.
