Given Twitter’s growth and recent activity, it is a good time to discuss the social media network. The network is growing significantly, but we should be keeping an eye on where the Internet is going – mobile.

Results from a survey carried out earlier this year, showed that 13% of adults now use Twitter, and 54% of users who have a mobile phone access twitter via this method. Early this year Twitter itself reported a 182% increase in the amount of mobile users over the past year.

Twitter has also partnered directly with Apple. With these points in mind Twitter is now in a very good position to continue growing.

Now is the time to start increasing your Twitter presence for the future. There are a number of areas you need to address in order to begin this process. I have listed some of the points below:

1. Twitter Do’s And Don’ts

Make sure you are aware of Twitter’s guidelines and references on rules on their site.

2. Twitter SEO

It is important to make sure you take the necessary steps to make your account easy to find by creating a search engine optimisation strategy.

3. Building Trust

Make sure you build up a level of trust by listening, responding actively, and being interesting to consumers.

4. Audience Targeting

You need to find influencers and understand what your audience requires from you.

5. Twitter Gaming Applications

Familiarise yourself with game types, benefits, and platforms on the social media site.

Where possible use the above tips and this will make you a better Twitter user and give your followers a better experience. If you have any points to add we would love to hear from you, so feel free to contact us at Network Intellect.
